OMG, Nazi Twin Town!
Crazy.
I like how the dude at the end is poring over those Nazi newspapers to try and figure out Joseph Mengele’s Nazi twin secrets. Because Mengele probably printed his secrets in Nazi newspapers, natch. And I also love that the only proof of this guy’s theory is that some people once claimed they saw Mengele sniffing around town. I mean, I guess it makes more sense than UFOs.

Oh, HuffPo. It's so cute when you try to discuss science like the grownups.
Sure, NatGeo played up the crazy if you only read that intro paragraph HuffPo linked to, but it's definitely nothing to get worried about, since the rest of NatGeo's coverage disproves the Mengele connection (records show high twinning back to at least 1927).
Most likely one of the very few founders of the town had a predisposition for twins, and, over the years, that predisposition has been distributed to most of the town.
Or, ya know, Nazi aliens. That could be it.
