Business Cards Have Arrived!

August 21, 2009 By: Category: Publishing

They’re in, and they’re the coolest. Thanks again to Holly and Andy at Rumors for their amazing design work (and for their kick-ass design on the book, which I notice you haven’t bought yet today) and the fine gentlemen at ColorCoded for the beautiful print job.

FRONT (note - black bar is not part of the design. I am redacting my phone number because there are people who would pay BIG MONEY for that information.)

In Praise of Great Work

August 14, 2009 By: Category: Publishing

Okay, I promise I will move beyond talking about book stuff in a minute. I know, you don’t come to the site to read about typesetting and layout, you come to the site to read about dolphin fighting and tips on making hand turkeys and such. But I just (finally) got some business cards printed and I wanted to give a shout out to the excellent people at ColorCoded Print in NYC. These guys do really fantastic work at very reasonable prices and I highly recommend their services. They do short runs of books, too, so if you ever need to get a book printed, you would be wise to contact them for a quote.

Is there anything better than having business cards? There may not be. A business card makes a man feel like a real champion, all right. I still have about 800 cards left from Contemporary Press. They’re sitting in my closet, making me feel like a champion every day.
